Chicago, IL - July 19, 2007 – The Private Company Index (PCI) announces its “Top Five Growth Company” slate for the most recent quarter. These five honorees, which as a group experienced overall average revenue growth of 29% in Q2 2007, include a spectrum of companies ranging from a Denver-area supply chain solution provider to a bi-coastal firm that created a proprietary methodology to analyze capital market trading. It is the first appearance on the PCI “Top Five” slate for four of these companies; though with recognized growth reaching 44% among this group this distinction appears to be only a stepping-off point for future success.
Q2 2007 Private Company Index Top Five Growth Companies:
The Avondale Group - Rolling Meadows, IL – A specialized roofing contractor and renovator in the Chicagoland area; Avondale was also listed among the Q4 2006 honorees.

We’re pleased to see this level of revenue growth to private firms all over the country and from a variety of industry bases. I think it bodes well for the private sector as a whole.”
The PCI is a proprietary benchmarking tool used to measure overall performance growth, and decline, in the private companies. It is recognized as the most authoritative source on company growth and private sector performance by practitioners in the financial markets (including investment bankers, broker-dealers, and M & A professionals and accounting firms).
