The PCI/Gazelles Index is a 10 company subset of the PCI portfolio that features the top growth firms of 2007—as assessed by the percent change in '07 revenues over '06. Analysts measure performance trends from this targeted high-growth group, known globally as ‘Gazelles,’ monthly and plot the data against the overall PCI computation.
PCI/Gazelles Index information is announced monthly in an independent news release to media, financial and informational partners.
August 2009 Gazelles Index

The PCI/Gazelles Index, which is a 10-company subset of the overall Entrex Private Company Index (PCI), closed at 1468 for July, which is slightly down from 1496 the prior month. The Gazelles index is down 1.85% this month, but YTD the Gazelles index is up 18.98%. Seventy five percent of the reporting companies saw revenue increases this month with 33% of those posting a 10% increase of June over July.
